Many of the products that appear on our website were marketed and sold by Shima American Corporation during the past 35+ years. In 2004, Shima American decided to spin-off certain portions of the Technology and Lifestyles Division. The new company, Super Cool Products, Inc., derived its name from The Super®, our products for the janitorial, sanitation, and consumer markets; and, Cool ‘N Dry®, our cooling towels for sport and pet. These products are shown throughout our website. We’ve also added some other cool products as well.
Part of marketing and selling any product is the ongoing activity that occurs behind the scenes. These activities were part of the original business plan at Shima American and continue with Super Cool Products today:
Search the world for high quality products that are useful or unique
Visit and establish relationships with quality vendors Visit key vendors' offices and factories Determine if the vendor is using local labor in a legal manner Certify that all waste is treated and disposed of in a legal and safe manner Talk to and listen to existing and potential customers Develop or find products that are unique, useful, and a good value
Assist customers with quality issues, replacements, or refunds Service our customer as we would expect to be serviced The list goes on and on and on …
